She has enhanced her experience by working with the likes of Redken, Affirm, Sebastian, Matrix, Joico, Indigo, Mizani, Tigi, Scruples, Jalyd, and Morrocanoil. Her cutting technique is one of her most sought after services. She has developed a superior style of cutting that gives her high end clients a "razor" look using a precision shear. Trayce has spent years testing and researching braiding patterns, sewing techniques, and hair that would allow women to have flawless and natural looking extensions. Trayce’s custom sew, made any line of extensions appear flawless, but she has come to realize every line of extensions is not healthy for your hair. Clients would arrive to their appointments with extensions that would matt, tangle and shed. Trayce witnessed her clients spending countless dollars to replace extensions that did not hold up as promised. She made it her mission to find a quality product that could be resilient enough to be worn multiple times, and provide clients with the maximum return on their investment. Trayce dedicated time to researching the process of manufactured hair, the different types of hair, and the wefts that the hair is attached to. After several tests and trial runs of relaxing, coloring, and straightening, she finally came up with a proven remedy to the problem. Her findings led to the development of her two extension hair lines; Luxury and Epiphany.
Luxury and Epiphany hair extensions are made from virgin hair, and sewn directly into the weft. Through her research she learned that obtaining hair from women with no history of drugs or alcohol use, and had never used any chemical products on their hair, would prevent her clients from experiencing the matting and tangling they received with other lines of extensions. She also found that having the hair sewn directly in the weft would prevent shedding. In the end, she was able to produce a high end line of hair that can be bleached, colored/dyed and worn for up to one year with proper maintenance.
Over the years Trayce has taken her business to new levels with customized techniques, the creation of her own personal hair lines, and most recently the development of educational courses; Trayce Madre Certified. In efforts to ensure that people are properly educated on hair extensions she has developed a training curriculum, for stylist and clients. Her goal is for everyone to be informed and knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of their hair.
